Dr. Gupta is the founder of G2Endo. She received her Bachelors of Arts and Science degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, and went on to attend University College Cork School of Medicine in Cork, Ireland. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine, and fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She holds a specialty certification (ECNU) in head and neck ultrasound and has been a Certified Clinical Densitomitrist (CCD) with the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE). Additionally, she completed a certificate in Media & Medicine at Harvard Medical School. 

She has served as chapter Secretary and Board Member with the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, Southern States Chapter.  She is an active member of the Women in Thyroidology and the American Thyroid Association. She additionally has served on multiple hospital committees, including the Board of Governors at St. Francis Hospital.  She holds several honors and publications, and is an international speaker and writer for different endocrine topics.'

She additionally speaks for Horizon (Tepezza), IBSA (Tirosint), and is a Creative Consultant for Abbvie (Synthroid.) 

She grew up in Memphis, and is a proud graduate of St. Mary's Episcopal School. She has two children. She has multiple hobbies outside of endocrinology, including culinary arts, textile arts, visual arts, martial arts, and creative writing.  Her art work is on display in Memphis , and she is the 2022 AACE receipient of the National Award in Excellence in the Humanities in Endocrinology.

She is a active member of AACE, the Endocrine Society, American Thyroid Association, and NASIT (North American Society of Interventional Thyroidology)
